Celtic full-back Kieran Tierney could be set for a move south of the border this summer with Arsenal among the clubs interested in his services.
Kieran Tierney has been one of the star turns of a Celtic side that continues to dominate Scottish football. Having joined the club aged just 7 years old, the full-back has risen through the ranks at Parkhead and now made over 100 league appearances since making his debut in 2015.
Despite being just 22 years old, Tierney has already won eight honours for the team that he supported as a boy and a raft of individual accolades too but supporters in Glasgow are now resigned to the fact that one of their key players could be on his way out this summer.
Arsenal appear to be the main suitors at the moment and this is a deal that seems to make sense. With Nacho Monreal seemingly past his best, a pacey and technically gifted left-back is a priority signing for Arsenal this season and with the experience he has garnered in the Scottish Premiership, Tierney does fit the bill.
A £15m bid from the Gunners has already been rejected by the Bhoys but you can expect the North London side to return with a higher offer before the end of the transfer window, although they may have to act quickly with other clubs showing an interest.
Napoli have been linked with a handful of British full-backs this summer as they look to make some changes to their defence and Tierney is among those players that have been linked with a move to Stadio San Paolo as their first-choice left-back Faouzi Ghoulam has also been linked with a move away.
There are other Premier League clubs reportedly in the running too. Danny Rose may be set to leave Tottenham Hotspur and Tierney could make an impressive replacement for him, whilst Leicester, Manchester United and Manchester City are all available to back in this market this summer.
