Premier League Winner Prediction
Our most important Premier League football predictions sees us tip up Manchester City for a fifth consecutive season. There’s a reason Pep Guardiola’s men have such favouritism within the outright winner market every season – they’re simply unplayable a lot of the time. Dominance has been apparent for almost all of Pep’s time in England, where City have won six of the eight titles on offer, and 2024/25 is set to be no exception in our mind.
Top Four Finish Prediction
City, Arsenal and Liverpool are all positioned at odds-on to confirm a place in next season’s Champions League, which sounds about right. That fourth spot is often contentious and our Premier League betting predictions suggest that Newcastle United could be worth a small punt. Eddie Howe has already breached the league’s elite with a top four finish two seasons ago and without European football hindering their calendar this term, momentum from last season can help carry them towards a fourth-placed finish this time around.
Relegation Team Prediction
Just like last season, our expert predictions say it would be no major shock to see all three newly-promoted teams fall straight back down into the Championship. Leicester City face a possible points deduction, Southampton’s recruitment hasn’t been strong enough to suggest that they are Premier League material and Ipswich Town are likely to operate stubbornly under Kieran McKenna, who has strict principles in the way he wants his team to play – a tactic which cost Burnley greatly under Vincent Kompany during the previous campaign.
Golden Boot Winner Prediction
Having won the two previous awards since his arrival in England, you’d be hard pressed to challenge Erling Haaland on claiming a third straight Golden Boot. A direct challenger could be Alexander Isak, who launched a late assault towards top goalscorer status in the previous season with 11 in his last 12 and 21 in 30 across the entire campaign.
However, given that a 100/1 outsider has placed in 13 of the last 22 PL renewals, punters can afford to go wild with their selections and have it still pay dividends. Although not quite this large of a price, Bukayo Saka continues to improve his output at Arsenal and his goals will prove crucial towards another expected title push. In the triple figures, Luis Diaz could be an enormous talent under the watchful eye of new manager Arne Slot and if he can stay fit then quotes of 110/1 seems absurdly high.
Player of the Season Prediction
A Manchester City player has scooped up this prize on the last four occasions, as Ruben Dias, Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland and Phil Foden have all been recognised for their outstanding contributions to their formidable team’s individual campaigns. If we’re to assume that City will rack up another PL title in 2024/25, expect Rodri to potentially have his name engraved on this particular trophy for the first time. His commanding presence at the heart of City’s midfield cannot be understated, especially as his importance has been outlined through their struggles whenever he is absent.
Manager of the Season Prediction
This particular award drums up a lot more controversy and divided opinion than potentially any other individual Premier League award. Many believe that the likes of Gary O’Neil, Andoni Iraola and Unai Emery have been snubbed for their recent contributions, however, it’s easier to presume that this will be awarded to the manager of the division’s league winners. Therefore we anticipate another gong to be added to Pep Guardiola’s extensive collection.
First Manager To Be Sacked Prediction
After a pitiful opening defeat to champions Man City, Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca has emerged as the betting favourite to suffer the dreaded first managerial beheading of the season. Although the Blues do enjoy a rash sacking, we feel Erik ten Hag’s time at Old Trafford could be numbered. With Ruud van Nistelrooy seemingly waiting in the wings as part of the Dutchman’s coaching staff, INEOS have a ready-made excuse to relieve ten Hag of his duties as soon as the going gets tough.
Young Player of the Season Prediction
Despite the foreseen turbulence that Chelsea are likely to endure again this term, Cole Palmer has been a ray of promise for the Blues since joining last season. It doesn’t matter how many new signings the club make, Palmer’s place in their starting XI is fully sealed and if he can hit similar heights to last campaign’s numbers then he should be a shoo-in to collect this award once more.

How To Bet on Premier League Futures
When dabbling in the outright Premier League markets it’s important to employ a longer term strategy in order to achieve success. For example, placing a bet on the PL winner requires consideration of different variables compared to selecting which teams will be relegated into the Championship. There are crossovers, however, like analysing previous form and growing fixture schedules for teams, especially those participating in European competitions or clubs who you might anticipate reaching later stages of domestic cup competitions.
A unique angle to follow when assessing the Premier League winner market is whether a team has been involved in a title race before. This indelible experience can often be the deciding factor between a team getting over the line or not. Another strategy to consider when backing a team to be relegated is forecasting a club’s January transfer window spend. If you examine a club like Ipswich Town, you’ll know that they aren’t going to go for broke halfway through the season to stay in the division as it doesn’t fit the club’s philosophy. That can dictate how their performance might go in the second half of the season based on how they handled the first batch of games prior to this transfer window.
Popular Premier League Bets
A good Premier League bet can vary from week to week, depending on fixtures, form, injuries and a lot of other variables. Generally we advise keeping your wagers simple, with only a few selections to reduce your chance of losing out.
The most popular bets are usually full-time result wagers, BTTS, over/under goal lines, first goalscorers, half-time/full-time, accumulators and correct scores – although we post a wider range of tips including total corners, anytime scorer and many others.
In-play betting is also an area on the rise. As bookmakers develop their live options with more detailed statistics and faster response times, wagering on Premier League action in the moment is rapidly becoming some of the most fun bets to place due to its unexpected nature and potential for in-game value.
