After starting up the rumour mill following comments at Ligue 1’s award ceremony, could Kylian Mbappe be on his way out of PSG this summer?
Kylian Mbappe has enjoyed an incredible career so far, having won the Ligue 1 titles on three occasions with two different clubs and also winning the World Cup, scoring in the final in Russia, before even reaching his 21st birthday.
Despite his club PSG storming their way to another Ligue 1 title this season, Mbappe got the rumours circulating at the league’s award ceremony by intimating that he may be open to a move away from the club with his acceptance speech after winning the Player of the Season and Top Goalscorer awards.
One club that have been linked with Mbappe before he made the switch from Monaco to the Parc des Princes is Real Madrid. The Paris-born winger has mentioned the club on several occasions although with Eden Hazard having already signed they made decide to wait for another year or two before making an inevitable move.
Manchester City’s move for Riyad Mahrez didn’t quite work out last season and they could be set to lose Leroy Sane, so would a move to the Etihad Stadium be out of the picture for Mbappe if he looks for a new challenge?
The likes of Liverpool and Manchester United are set to splash the cash and improve their squads this summer too and could be tempted by a sensational move for what is surely a future Ballon D’Or winner in Mbappe.
Juventus meanwhile possess Mbappe’s hero, Cristiano Ronaldo, in their squad. Could the Portuguese superstar be able to convince the 20 year old to swap Ligue 1 for Serie A this summer?
