Norwich City vs Chelsea Gentingbet Preview
Norwich fans will be delighted their team managed to bounce back last week with victory over Newcastle following their Liverpool lesson in the opening week, and will be looking for the big scalp when they welcome Chelsea on the weekend. Frank Lampard’s team have improved since their opening loss to United although they were left frustrated when Leicester came from behind for a share of the points at Stamford Bridge last time out.

Norwich City vs Chelsea Match Preview
Frank Lampard has yet to taste success as Chelsea manager in a competitive fixture – and it would not be exaggerating to describe Saturday’s trip to Norwich as a must-win game.
The former England midfielder knew he was not taking charge of the club he graced for 13 years as a player at the optimum time, but their Premier League results so far have to be considered worse than feared.
Chelsea were beaten 4-0 at Manchester United even though the scoreline was overly harsh and after losing the UEFA Super Cup on penalties to Liverpool, they really should have been beaten at home by Leicester instead of drawing 1-1 as their opponents missed lots of chances.
But Lampard is still learning about his players and should be trusted to get things right, albeit patience is rarely afforded to managers at Stamford Bridge – and that makes this visit to newly-promoted Norwich a hugely important one.
It will not be easy for the Blues because Norwich are sure to be buzzing after their 3-1 win at home to Newcastle last week in which Teemu Pukki soared to the top of the Premier League scoring chart with a hat-trick – the Finn has only played two matches in the English top flight and scored all of his team’s four goals!
However, Chelsea’s squad has much greater quality than Newcastle’s and as the Canaries were well beaten by Liverpool previously, we will back Lampard to breathe a sigh of relief after his first Premier League win as a manager.
