The Citizens have won the last two Premier League titles and still appear to be operating at their absolute best under Pep Guardiola after starting the campaign with a thumping away win at West Ham, while Manchester United got the campaign off to a perfect start by hammering a potential rival for a top four finish in Chelsea by a 4-0 scoreline at Old Trafford.
Harry Kane found the net twice for Tottenham Hotspur in their win over Aston Villa on the opening weekend and he has won the Golden Boot twice in the last four seasons and even finished second behind Mohamed Salah two seasons ago despite smashing in 30 goals.
Sheffield United meanwhile appear to have the weakest squad in the Premier League on paper at least. They’ll have been happy to start the campaign with a draw at Bournemouth but you have to wonder if Chris Wilder’s squad really has enough quality to ensure top tier safety this term.
