Bet One – Newcastle vs Man City – Away win & under 2.5 goals
Newcastle United have been better than most pundits and supporters expected them to be so far this season under Steve Bruce and this ground proved to be one of the few places where Manchester City dropped points last season. We still think the Citizens will come away with three points this time around, but the Magpies won’t lie down and we can see a low-scoring game in which Pep Guardiola’s men eventually grind out the three points.
Bet Two – Chelsea vs West Ham – Home win & over 4.5 goals
Chelsea have been involved in some dramatic high-scoring games in recent weeks. The Blues have seen over 2.5 goals scored in six of their last seven games and on Saturday, they welcome London rivals West Ham who played out a five goal thriller with another London side, Tottenham Hotspur, last weekend. Frank Lampard should be able to get the win over his old club here but we’re expecting plenty of goals to be scored in the process at Stamford Bridge.
Bet Three – Liverpool vs Brighton – Sadio Mane to score first
Next up we’re looking to Liverpool’s home fixture against Brighton & Hove Albion. Sadio Mane has been the stand-out star for Liverpool in this Premier League season, racking up 8 goals in 13 appearances so far – more than the likes of Mo Salah and Roberto Firmino. The Senegalese forward seems to be on fire at the moment and we think there’s value in backing him to open the scoring for the sixth time this season in a Premier League match.
Bet Four – Tottenham vs Bournemouth – Harry Kane to score two or more
Harry Kane has looked rejuvenated in recent weeks, scoring four times in two games in the recent international break and then bagging three times in two appearances under the new Tottenham Hotspur manager Jose Mourinho including a brace against Olympiakos in the Champions League in midweek. With Spurs looking to continue their fine start to life under the Portuguese boss Kane could be on the scoresheet a couple of times again as they host Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon.
Bet Five – Southampton vs Watford – Draw
Finally for our fourth free £5 bet we’re looking to the evening kick-off where two relegation candidates face off on the south coast. Watford sit bottom of the table at the moment, but they have managed to earn themselves five draws so far this term and they travel to take on a Southampton outfit that have drawn two of their last five games.
