There’s very little to separate old rivals Real Sociedad and Athletic Bilbao in the La Liga table at the moment. As things stand, Sociedad sit just one place and three points above their Sunday afternoon opponents, but in Leones they come up against a team that are tough to break down – the five draws they’ve picked up in their last six league outings pay testament to that. No team has tied more games than the Basque outfit this term – we fancy another in an all-Basque affair this time around.
Bet Three – Osasuna vs Real Madrid – Away win & under 2.5 goals
Real Madrid look to be grinding their way to the La Liga title without being particularly exhilarating under Zinedine Zidane this season. Los Blancos have gone 13 games unbeaten in the league, winning their last four, but what’s particularly interesting is that six of the last eight games involving Real have seen less than three goals scored. We expect them to force out another three points from this potentially tricky trip to Osasuna over the weekend.
Bet Four – Celta Vigo vs Sevilla – Under 1.5 goals
It could be a low-scoring affair at Estadio Balaidos on Sunday afternoon as Celta Vigo and Sevilla meet, with both of these teams struggling for goals at the moment. Os Celticos haven’t managed to find the net in their last two La Liga outings against Valencia and Eibar whilst under 2.5 goals have been scored in all but two of los Rojiblancos’ last nine league fixtures. We fancy that one goal could be enough to win this one.
Bet Five – Real Betis vs Barcelona – Away win to nil
We’re backing a big win for Barcelona on Sunday as they continue to struggle in the early stages of Quique Setien’s reign at Camp Nou. Blaugrana take on Real Betis, who have struggled a little for goals of late, managing just one in their last two matches against Getafe and Eibar. We anticipate a stronger performance this time from the floundering Catalonians and we fancy them to keep a clean sheet en route to a victory here.
