Getting Nathan Lowe in looks a really shrewd bit of business by County. He was a class above at Walsall and should have been good enough to get more minutes at Stoke following his recall.
The Hatters found themselves in a similar situation last season when Louie Barry was recalled by Aston Villa after scoring 15 goals in 23 in League One, while Isaac Olaofe’s subsequent departure to Charlton after netting 12 times is also a blow.
Lowe is the real deal, though, and can strike up a strong partnership with Kyle Wootton.

Stockport’s tough times over recent decades meant that last season’s meeting marked the first time the pair had met in the EFL since 2000-01.Â
