Mason Mount can show off his versatility in this fixture, dropping deeper on the pitch. The former Chelsea star, who signed for United in a £55m deal, has been employed in forward areas by Ruben Amorim for much of this season.

For the Newcastle game, though, Mount can be expected to fill the huge hole left in the side by Bruno Fernandes’s injury.
