Leicester vs Brentford Tips

Tip 1

Schade is one of the PL’s most transformed players this season, managing eight goals, with only one of those coming outside of league duties in the EFL Cup.

This compares to just two goals and two assists in his first season and a half at Brentford, however, the record signing has answered questions asked by those solely focused on goal contributions, as well as passing the eye test.

The attacking midfielder can play anywhere across the front line and has netted two in his last three matches and three in his last six.

All of these goals have come in away matches, producing the goods against Southampton, Crystal Palace and West Ham in the Bees’ three away fixtures this calendar year.

The German is averaging a very productive 2.53 shots per 90, in addition to his extremely promising 0.55 non-penalty goals per 90 figure.

Further fuel is that he bagged a hat-trick in the 4-1 home win over Leicester last November and boasts superb finishing.

Tip 2

A great reason to back Brentford, who are odds against for the win at 21/20 with Coral and Ladbrokes, is that they can do it both – they have players capable of dominating a game, but can just as easily hurt teams on the break after spending time soaking up pressure in a low block.

Thomas Frank is the architect behind Brentford’s continued success and will have no trouble deploying the right approach against the struggling hosts on Friday having already put four past them this campaign.

Compounding Leicester’s misery is the fact that they’ve failed to score in four of their last six fixtures, blanking in half of their games since Dutchman Ruud van Nistelrooy stepped into the dugout.

Two of Brentford’s last three wins have come without conceding – versus West Ham and Southampton away – and they’ve also kept a clean sheet in three of their last four on the road.

Leicester Form, Team News & Predicted Line-Up

The struggling Foxes have suffered three straight defeats since reviving some hope with a 2-1 win over Tottenham at the end of January – most recently going down 2-0 to Arsenal at the King Power last Saturday lunchtime.

Ruud van Nistelrooy has three absentees for Friday night’s match, with James Justin, Ricardo Pereira and Issahaku Fatawu all declared unfit to feature.

Leicester Predicted XI: Hermansen; Coulibaly, Faes, Okoli, Kristiansen; Ndidi, Soumare; Cordova-Reid, El-Khanouss, Ayew; Vardy.

Brentford Form, Team News & Predicted Line-Up

Thomas Frank’s men bounced back from a disappointing 2-0 defeat to Spurs by beating Graham Potter’s West Ham side 1-0 at the London Stadium last Saturday.

Brentford have six on the injury table currently, as Aaron Hickey, Joshua Dasilva, Igor Thiago, Rico Henry, Sepp Van den Berg and Gustavo Nunes are all without a return date in sight.

Brentford Predicted XI: Flekken; Roerslev, Collins, Ajer, Lewis-Potter; Norgaard, Janelt; Mbuemo, Damsgaard, Schade; Wissa.
