Brazilian leaders Flamengo will be desperate for a result against a top European side, but Chelsea’s deep squad is beginning to look fatigue-proof.

After a year of tweaking and rotating his side, Enzo Maresca looks to have figured out his best 11, which has led to a return to form for Cole Palmer.

Player to Watch

Enzo Fernandez is in an odd position at Chelsea, as he continues to impress while struggling to fit into the Blues’ best 11.

The Argentine came off the bench to score against LAFC, while he also netted and assisted in the Conference League final.

Fernandez has been a bigger attacking presence of late, recording 15 shots on target across his last 18 appearances. He’s notched six goals and six assists in that spell as well.

However, the Blues look more balanced with Romeo Lavia and Moises Caicedo playing behind Cole Palmer. Fernandez is effectively a £106million super-sub, but his form in 2025 has him pushing for more minutes.
