The Man City-linked forward has been undeterred from his imminent switch to England and has already been confirmed to be in the starting XI – possibly for the final time – on Tuesday.

He has twice as many goals as the next top scorer within the Frankfurt ranks, Hugo Ekitike, who sits on seven compared to Omar’s 14 in 16 league appearances.

Although his frequency has somewhat let up in contrast to his ferocious start during this campaign, the 25-year-old Egyptian does still boast three in his last five games and faces a team who’ve shipped more goals (26) than any of the other top eight sides in the division.

Marmoush will be keen to give the Frankfurt faithful a memorable send off this week and what better way to do it than by letting his feet do the talking.

He’s netted a brace on four occasions already this term, including one against Bayern Munich in the 3-3 home draw back in October.
