Ecuador vs Chile Fansbet Preview
Although La Roja kept a clean sheet against Japan, Hajime Moriyasu’s men did have a chance or two with 13 shots overall, though they could only get three of them on target and a more clinical team would have gotten onto the scoresheet.
Ecuador didn’t stand much of a chance of breaching Uruguay’s dogged backline, registering just two shots in their opening fixture, but Chile’s defence can be more susceptible and accommodating.

Ecuador vs Chile Match Preview
Chile have had trouble breaking down Japan but everything changed with Eric Pulgar’s opener late in the first half, as they now come into their Matchday 2 clash against Ecuador looking to build on a 4-0 win as Vargas (x2) and Alexis Sanchez both added to the tally.
La Roja have thus connected their two-match winning streak and will now want to build on the consistency, as they look for their third Copa America title in a row against all the odds. They’ve been scoring numbers of goals and this will surely have them just as motivated on the day.
Ecuador have, on the other hand, got it on the wrong foot as early opener orchestrated by Luis Suarez and converted by Nicolas Lodeiro proved just as an intro to their woes, where Jose Quinteros got sent off and they suffered a 4-0 thumping in the hands of in-form Uruguay.
La Tricolor have been struggling for defensive consistency and this was just as obvious in Brazil, as they now look for a return to the winning ways after five games. They’ve conceded eight goals in three June outings and finding a quick fix will be crucial for Hernan Gomez if his side is to make it out of the group.
We don’t feel they will, though, and although we expect a very strong challenge from Ecuador – we feel Chile have what it takes to overcome it and we’ll back them to win an exciting game of football at 5/6 with Coral.
We do hope for goals once again and with that in mind, we’re also going for Over 2.5 Goals FT at 21/20 with Ladbrokes – which has caught a lot of attention already as both sides come into the match off some high-scoring contests.
