Arsenal sent out a message to the Premier League last weekend with a very impressive away win over fellow Champions League outfit Aston Villa thanks to second-half goals from Leandro Trossard and Thomas Partey.

That victory came on the back of another 2-0 win to begin the season against Wolves and Mikel Arteta’s men are looking like potential title challengers once again at this early stage of the campaign.

The Gunners face a tough test this Saturday lunchtime though as they welcome another team that have taken a maximum of six points so far in the shape of Brighton & Hove Albion.

After a 0-3 away win at Everton on Matchday One and a last-gasp victory over Manchester United at the Amex Stadium last time out the Seagulls head to North London in high spirits and looking to upset the odds.

Arsenal have started the season in good form and as impressive as Brighton have looked under new boss Fabian Hurzeler, there is a gap in quality between these two squads and with home advantage, the Gunners will be expecting to take the points here.

But the Gunners defence may be in for a more difficult task than in their previous two games here as the Seagulls have racked up five goals in their first two games with the second-highest xG return in the Premier League.

While the home side will look to dominate possession, they will have to be wary of the threat posed by the likes of Joao Pedro and Kaoru Mitoma as well as their former striker Danny Welbeck, who has scored twice already in this Premier League campaign.

While it’s usually defenders and midfielders that our readers look at when looking for a fouls bet, we suggest taking a look at Arsenal striker Kai Havertz ahead of Saturday’s lunchtime kick-off.

The German striker has committed no fewer than six fouls already this season as he is often over-stretched in pressing the opposition backline and can give away free-kicks by looking to capitalise on a defence that’s trying to play out from the back.

One man who will be wary of this approach is Brighton defender Joel Veltman. Only one defender has drawn more fouls than the Dutchman’s total of five in the opening two games of this Premier League season.
