Real Madrid travel to Vitoria-Gasteiz for their Matchday 15 clash on Saturday looking to snatch La Liga top spot, now sitting 2nd and behind pace-setters Barcelona only for their goal difference. They’ve been in fine form lately but still saw their winning streak interrupted by PSG (2-2) on Tuesday, which will make a return to the winning ways a must.

Los Blancos have beaten Galatasaray (6-0), Eibar (0-4), and Real Sociedad (3-1) in three convincing games beforehand, scoring numbers of goals on the regular and boasting great team spirits with Karim Benzema, Eden Hazard, and Luka Modric taking the spotlight. They will now hope to keep it up and we do see them making it happen.

Alaves have bounced to the winning ways themselves as they beat Real Valladolid (3-0) ahead of the International break and they’ve built on it with a 0-2 win at Eibar last week, where Joselu bagged a late brace to snatch the points. That’s the first time they connected a two-game winning streak this term and Asier Garitano’s men will be desperate to climb the table.

Babazorros have been a tough side to beat at this ground and they’ll surely show off as such an outfit once again, but their struggles for such consistency at the back will be more worrying. They conceded a high total of nine goals in three games beforehand and this could prove costly once again.
