With plenty of Football League fixtures taking place on Tuesday night we’ve picked out five results from the evening’s Championship games for a mouth-watering 40/1 accumulator.
Here’s what we’re backing…

Blackburn vs Hull- Home Win
Hull City are looking pretty out-of-sorts at the moment. The Tigers have been knocked out of the cup in the last few weeks, sold star man Jarrod Bowen to West Ham United on deadline day and picked up just one point from the last available 15 in the Championship. Blackburn Rovers are strong at home and have lost just one of their last 11 fixtures at Ewood Park, so we fancy the hosts to pick up all three points in this one.
Brentford vs Leeds – Home Win
Brentford’s surge towards the top of the table has gathered steam with back-to-back wins over Middlesbrough and Hull City in the last two weeks. They’re now just three points behind second-placed Leeds, so a win on Tuesday night will take them level with the Whites and it’s worth noting that Marcelo Bielsa’s men have actually lost five of their last six games on the bounce now – so we fancy the Bees to pick up the victory here.
Swansea vs QPR – Home Win
Swansea’s play-off hopes have taken a hit in the last few weeks with just one point earned from the last available nine, but it’s worth noting that Queens Park Rangers are the visitors to the Liberty Stadium on Tuesday night. The London outfit have lost their last four consecutive games and appear to be in a real rut at the moment, so we fancy the Swans with their superior squad and the home advantage here, to pick up all three points.
Nottingham Forest vs Charlton – Home Win
Nottingham Forest are also in a race to return to the Premier League this season and after a big win over Leeds at the weekend now sit within a point of the automatic promotion spots. The Tricky Trees have picked up 13 points from an available 15 in their last five home matches so should face few problems in earning another three in this home fixture against a Charlton Athletic outfit that have lost four consecutive away games in the Championship.
Wigan vs Middlesbrough – Draw
Middlesbrough’s improved form over the Christmas period appears to have subsided in recent weeks and they’ve now gone seven games without a victory in all competitions. Four of those games have ended in draws though and on paper, we think they have a better squad than their Tuesday night opponents Wigan, who currently sit in the relegation zone. We can see these two sides cancelling each other out for a tie at the DW Stadium.
