Betfair are offering new customers 18+ a fantastic £100 in free bets. We show you how to start snapping them up by betting on this weekend’s football…and hopefully making a big profit!
How do I get £100 in free bets at Betfair?
In all honesty, it’s not a quickfire process. It’s not a “wham bam, thank you ma’am” in the sense that it’s not one bet = one free bet.
Instead, Betfair like to reward loyalty from customers who will stay with them rather than the ‘here today gone tomorrow’ types who are in it for one quick hit.
And that’s fine by us, because the £100 in free bets offer allows you to build up your betting bank and/or withdraw any profits just as long as you stick to the criteria for the promotion.
How much do I need to stake to get £100 in free bets?
The simple answer is £250. But not all at once – it’s essentially five £10 bets to trigger a £20 free bet, and you can do that five times to reach the maximum £100 in free bets.
Place 5 single bets of £10 or more on different Betfair Sportsbook markets at minimum odds of 1/2
After your 5 qualifying bets have been settled, you will receive a £20 free bet
Repeat this process up to 5 times to receive the maximum available bonus of £100 (5 x £20 free bets)
What else do I need to know?
Qualifying bets are those placed and settled within the first 30 days after you open your account
Cashed Out and Voided bets do not qualify
Bets placed using free bets as the stake (in full or part) will not qualify
Only one bet per event qualifies
Multiple bets are excluded
Free bets are valid for 30 days
Which qualifying bets should I place?
Let’s bag a £20 free bet this weekend by betting £10 on each of the following matches. We only have 30 days to get the full £100 of free bets available so there’s no time like the present to crack on!
Bet No 1: Everton vs Crystal Palace – Home win to nil @ 6/4 with Betfair
These are worrying times for Crystal Palace, who did not have a good January transfer window and have dropped alarmingly down the Premier League table to 14th position after a run of seven league and cup matches without a win.
The Eagles have been overtaken by Everton, who showed terrific spirit to come from 2-0 down to win at Watford last weekend and with Palace’s on-loan Toffees striker Cenk Tosun ineligible to face his parent club there could be a clean sheet as well as three points for Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
Bet No 2: Brighton vs Watford – Draw @ 12/5 with Betfair
Watford’s revival under Nigel Pearson has come to a juddering halt with back-to-back league defeats against Aston Villa and Everton, but there may well be something for the Hornets on this trip to the south coast.
Brighton are not in great form themselves having won only one of their last 11 games and Watford’s attacking play certainly suggests they are capable of heading home with a point.
Bet No 3: Atletico Madrid vs Granada – Home win and under 2.5 goals @ 7/5 with Betfair
With only four Premier League matches taking place this weekend due to the commencement of the winter break, we are looking to La Liga in Spain for our next bet in anticipation of a familiarly solid home performance from Atletico Madrid.
Diego Simeone’s side have not been at their best this season, but it’s their away form that has been letting them down and there appears no reason why they should not churn out another of their regular 1-0 or 2-0 home wins here.
Bet No 4: Sheffield United vs Bournemouth – Home win and under 3.5 goals @ 23/20 with Betfair
In some ways, Sheffield United are like England’s version of Atletico Madrid at present, in that they also grind out the victories by virtue of being very solid defensively.
This is fancied to be another against a Bournemouth side who appear to be banking on collecting points at home to avoid relegation – but if, as expected, the Blades do win, it is unlikely there will be many goals.
Bet No 5: Manchester City vs West Ham United – City to be ahead at 20 minutes @ 6/5 with Betfair
City have lost their latest two matches to nil, which is most unlike them, and you can be sure Pep Guardiola will be demanding a positive response against West Ham, whom they regularly put to the sword.
After a week to get the bizarre defeat at Tottenham out of their system, we think it will be business as usual at the Etihad and that the soon-to-be former Premier League champions will get their noses in front early.
Potential total returns from our five £10 bets = £126.50…and you will receive a £20 free bet.
Good luck!
*New customer offer. Place 5 x €/£10 or more bets to receive €/£20 in free bets. Repeat up to 5 times to receive maximum €/£100 bonus. Min odds 1/2 (1.5). Exchange bets excluded. T&Cs apply.
