Betfair are offering new customers 18+ a fantastic £100 in free bets – and we show you how to start snapping them up by betting on this weekend’s football…and hopefully making a big profit!

How do I get £100 in free bets at Betfair?

In all honesty, it’s not a quickfire process. It’s not a “wham bam, thank you ma’am” in the sense that it’s not one bet = one free bet.

Instead, Betfair like to reward loyalty from customers who will stay with them rather than the ‘here today gone tomorrow’ types who are in it for one quick hit.

And that’s fine by us, because the £100 in free bets offer allows you to build up your betting bank and/or withdraw any profits just as long as you stick to the criteria for the promotion.

How much do I need to stake to get £100 in free bets?

The simple answer is £250. But not all at once – it’s essentially five £10 bets to trigger a £20 free bet, and you can do that five times to reach the maximum £100 in free bets.

So it works like this:

  1. Open a Betfair account via this link
  2. Place 5 single bets of £10 or more on different Betfair Sportsbook markets at minimum odds of 1/2
  3. After your 5 qualifying bets have been settled, you will receive a £20 free bet
  4. Repeat this process up to 5 times to receive the maximum available bonus of £100 (5 x £20 free bets)

What else do I need to know?

  • Qualifying bets are those placed and settled within the first 30 days after you open your account
  • Cashed Out and Voided bets do not qualify
  • Bets placed using free bets as the stake (in full or part) will not qualify
  • Only one bet per event qualifies
  • Multiple bets are excluded
  • Free bets are valid for 30 days

Which qualifying bets should I place?

Let’s bag a £20 free bet this weekend by betting on the Premier League matches. We only have 30 days to get the full £100 of free bets available so there’s no time like the present to crack on!

Bet No 1: Leicester City vs Tottenham Hotspur – Draw @ 5/2 with Betfair

All of Tottenham’s three away matches this season have finished 2-2 and another stalemate could be on the cards when they visit a Leicester side just edged out 1-0 at Manchester United last weekend.

Spurs will want to answer manager Mauricio Pochettino’s criticism of their Champions League performance this week, but Leicester are a formidable proposition on their own pitch and look well capable of claiming a point.

Bet No 2: Burnley vs Norwich City – Home win @ Evens with Betfair

Norwich will be cock-a-hoop after turning over champions Manchester City last weekend, but have yet to show they are anywhere near as effective on the road and they have a poor record at Burnley.

The Canaries have lost three out of three on their travels this term, including at Crawley in the Carabao Cup, and although Burnley’s odds are short enough here the Clarets appeal having performed better than their results up to now suggest.

Bet No 3: Sheffield United to win or draw away to Everton @ 11/10 with Betfair

Everton still lack consistency, perhaps because their summer signings have not yet properly bedded in, and they look very opposable at odds-on against a Sheffield United side who have made a promising start to Premier League life.

The Blades have drawn both of their away games so far, including when they fought back from 2-0 down at Chelsea, and are yet to be beaten by more than a one-goal margin which suggests they will be highly competitive at Goodison Park.

Bet No 4: Manchester City vs Watford – Home win and over 3.5 goals in the match @ 3/4 with Betfair

City showed by winning 3-0 at Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League this week that there are no great problems with their makeshift defence despite suffering that shock defeat at Norwich.

It should be business as usual back at the Etihad Stadium, although it would be no surprise if Watford also contributed to the scoring based on their terrific second-half fightback against Arsenal in Quique Sanchez Flores’ first game back at the helm.

Bet No 5: Arsenal vs Aston Villa – Home win and under 3.5 goals in the match @ 7/5 with Betfair

England’s other 3-0 winners in Europe this week were Arsenal, also away from home, and back at the Emirates Stadium they should be capable of following up their victory over Eintracht Frankfurt by beating Aston Villa.

However, it may not be easy for the Gunners because Villa have been solid defensively of late, conceding only one goal in their last three Premier League matches as they start to settle back at this higher level.

Potential returns from our five £10 bets = £117.50…and you will receive a £20 free bet.

Good luck!

*New customer offer. Place 5 x €/£10 or more bets to receive €/£20 in free bets. Repeat up to 5 times to receive maximum €/£100 bonus. Min odds 1/2 (1.5). Exchange bets excluded. T&Cs apply.
