Betfair are offering new customers 18+ a fantastic £100 in free bets – and we show you how to start snapping them up by betting on this weekend’s football…and hopefully making a big profit!
How do I get £100 in free bets at Betfair?
In all honesty, it’s not a quickfire process. It’s not a “wham bam, thank you ma’am” in the sense that it’s not one bet = one free bet.
Instead, Betfair like to reward loyalty from customers who will stay with them rather than the ‘here today gone tomorrow’ types who are in it for one quick hit.
And that’s fine by us, because the £100 in free bets offer allows you to build up your betting bank and/or withdraw any profits just as long as you stick to the criteria for the promotion.
How much do I need to stake to get £100 in free bets?
The simple answer is £250. But not all at once – it’s essentially five £10 bets to trigger a £20 free bet, and you can do that five times to reach the maximum £100 in free bets.
Place 5 single bets of £10 or more on different Betfair Sportsbook markets at minimum odds of 1/2
After your 5 qualifying bets have been settled, you will receive a £20 free bet
Repeat this process up to 5 times to receive the maximum available bonus of £100 (5 x £20 free bets)
What else do I need to know?
Qualifying bets are those placed and settled within the first 30 days after you open your account
Cashed Out and Voided bets do not qualify
Bets placed using free bets as the stake (in full or part) will not qualify
Only one bet per event qualifies
Multiple bets are excluded
Free bets are valid for 30 days
Which qualifying bets should I place?
Let’s bag a £20 free bet on Saturday by betting on the Premier League matches. We only have 30 days to get the full £100 of free bets available so there’s no time like the present to crack on!
Bet No 1: Sheffield United vs Liverpool – Away win and over 2.5 goals in the match @ 17/20 with Betfair
This is not the easiest test for Liverpool as they not only aim to build an eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League table in this early kick-off, but also move to within two of Manchester City’s record for the most consecutive victories in the competition.
Sheffield United will be confident after beating the Reds’ local rivals Everton away from home last week and, while likely to lose, they may well contribute to the scoring in what should be an entertaining encounter.
Bet No 2: Chelsea vs Brighton – Home win and under 3.5 goals in the match @ 6/5 with Betfair
Chelsea are becoming great entertainers under Frank Lampard, scoring lots of goals, but while they are expected to beat Brighton, this is likely to be a victory of a more perfunctory nature.
Brighton will surely set up to keep things tight at Stamford Bridge and will be doing well to score a goal themselves considering they have never previously done so in five visits to this ground.
Bet No 3: Crystal Palace vs Norwich City – Home win @ 19/20 with Betfair
Everything points to a Palace victory here. Not only are they a much improved team at home this season but Norwich have lost all of their away games, and conceded both goals in last weekend’s 2-0 defeat at Burnley within the opening 14 minutes.
Add in the fact that the Canaries have a terrible record at this ground and it really does look like a game Palace have to win.
Bet No 4: Wolves vs Watford – Away win or draw @ 5/6 with Betfair
Hands up who thought these clubs would be the bottom two in the table after six matches? No, we didn’t either, but it has been a surprisingly poor start from both.
Watford were drubbed 8-0 at Manchester City last Saturday, but they were excellent in the second half against Arsenal in Quique Sanchez Flores’ first game back at the helm the previous weekend, won in the Carabao Cup on Tuesday and should be able to avoid defeat against a Wolves side who simply cannot buy a domestic victory this season.
Bet No 5: Manchester City to be ahead at HT/FT away to Everton @ 5/6 with Betfair
City have bounced back strongly from their shock defeat at Norwich with three victories by a 14-0 aggregate and they are expected to march on at Goodison Park.
A hallmark of those wins was fast starts as 10 of the 14 goals were scored in the first half and we expect Pep Guardiola’s side to step on the gas and put the game to bed with a Champions League fixture coming up on Tuesday.
