Bet One – Sassuolo vs Inter Milan – Away win & BTTS
Inter Milan have enjoyed a fine start to the Serie A campaign, winning six of their first seven games to sit in second place behind Juventus at this early stage. On Sunday they face Sassuolo and the Neroverdi have plenty of attacking quality through the likes of Francesco Caputo and Domenico Berardi (who have eight goals between them already this season). We still expect Antonio Conte’s men to win, but Sassuolo should get on the scoresheet at least here.
Bet Two – Espanyol vs Villarreal – Villarreal -1
Villarreal sit in the top half of the La Liga table after eight games, having won only three matches thus far but all of those three victories have come by a margin of more than one goal. On Sunday they head to Catalonia to take on Espanyol, who have really struggled for form so far this term and sit in 19th place in the table. They’ve lost three of their last four games by more than one goal so we anticipate a comfortable away win for Yellow Submarine here.
Bet Three – Manchester United vs Liverpool – Away win & BTTS
Liverpool have won every single one of their Premier League games so far this season, but they’ve still only kept one clean sheet and haven’t looked quite as imperious at the back as they did last term. The Reds should still have more than enough quality to beat their arch rivals on Sunday, but we’re anticipating Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men to put up more of a fight going forward and get on the scoresheet, perhaps through Marcus Rashford, who returned to goalscoring form for England in midweek.
Bet Four – Monaco vs Stade Rennais – Home win to nil
Monaco may be struggling towards the foot of the Ligue 1 table at the moment, but they have won two of their last three games and you can see the green shoots of recovering form from les Rouges et Blancs. On Sunday, they welcome a Stade Rennais outfit that has really struggled in front of goal as late, scoring just two goals across their last five Ligue 1 outings. As such, we fancy the hosts to win out with a clean sheet at odds of 21/10.
Bet Five – Hoffenheim vs Schalke – Draw
We’re struggling to pick a winner in the 5pm kick-off over in Germany between Hoffenheim and Schalke. Although the visitors have been in far better form so far this season they were held to a 1-1 draw with Koln last time out and their opponents do have the home advantage in this one. Hoffenheim have drawn a couple of games against Bayer Leverkusen and Wolfsburg – we fancy them to share the spoils again here.
