Bet One – Liverpool vs Watford Home win & over 4.5 goals
We’re backing goals as Liverpool host Watford for the early kick-off. The Hornets look out of sorts at the bottom of the table, but do possess some attacking options and will fancy their chances, at home, of getting on the scoresheet against a Reds defence that has kept just three clean sheets so far this Premier League season which is hardly the best record in the division. Despite that, Jurgen Klopp’s men are cruising at the top of the table and should rack up more than enough goals to get the win here through the likes of Sadio Mane and Mo Salah.
Bet Two – Burnley vs Newcastle – Away win
Burnley may be starting to look over their shoulder towards the foot of the Premier League table after three consecutive defeats leave them just three points above the relegation zone. With confidence low after a 5-0 hammering from Tottenham Hotspur last weekend, the Clarets now face one of the Premier League’s in-form sides in the shape of Newcastle United. The Magpies have confounded expectations so far this term and we fancy them to earn a fifth win in seven games in this trip to the North West.
Bet Three – Chelsea vs Bournemouth – Home win & BTTS
Bournemouth have lost their last five matches ahead of this trip to the capital and we expect another difficult afternoon for the Cherries here. Chelsea have performed well so far this term and sit in the top four positions of the Premier League as well as progressing as table-toppers in their Champions League group. Despite these five defeats, Bournemouth possess some dangerous attacking players such as Callum Wilson and Josh King, whilst haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last six, so we’re looking at the result and both teams to score market here.
Bet Four – Leicester vs Norwich – Vardy to score first and Leicester to win
Jamie Vardy has now scored in each of his last six outings for Leicester City, with last weekend’s brace in the win over Aston Villa taking his tally to 16 goals in 16 games for the campaign. With the 32 year old in blistering form, were backing him for yet another goal in this game and it should be another win for Leicester too against an off-form Norwich outfit as the Foxes look to chase down Liverpool at the top of the table.
Bet Five – Sheffield United vs Aston Villa – Draw
Sheffield United’s early season form has slowly started to tail off in recent weeks. The Blades have now won just one of their last five games and have actually drawn no fewer than five of their last nine matches. With the home advantage, they’re unsurprisingly favourites against a struggling Aston Villa outfit, but Dean Smith’s men did earn a hard-fought point on the road at Manchester United recently so we can see them battling to another tie on Saturday afternoon.
