If there’s one striker in Europe that’s caught the eye of supporters this season it’s Erling Haaland. The beanpole striker has been racking the goals up for fun in both the Austrian Bundesliga and the Champions League, even coming off the bench to score at Anfield against Liverpool too. The Norwegian will be hoping to continue building his reputation by opening the scoring in another Champions League clash tonight.
Timo Werner has been in typically brilliant form for RB Leipzig in the early stages of this season. In the Bundesliga, the 23 year old has averaged a goal a game so far this term with 12 strikes in his first 12 league fixtures of the season and he’s bagged a further two from four in the Champions League too – both of which came in the reverse fixture against Benfica in Lisbon earlier in the group stage.
