Bet One – Sassuolo vs Lazio – Away win & BTTS
Lazio have been in strong form of late, going seven games unbeaten in Serie A and picking up victories over the likes of Fiorentina and AC Milan along that run. On Sunday, they head to MAPFRE Stadium to take on Sassuolo who intriguingly, have scored in each of their last four home games but gone on to lose three of them. As such, we can’t resist looking at the away win and both teams to score market for this game at 15/8 to kick-off our run of afternoon bets.
Bet Two – Sheffield United vs Manchester United – Home win
Sheffield United have been brilliant so far this season since winning promotion from the Championship last year and they currently sit in fifth place in the Premier League table following a five game unbeaten run. Having already beaten Arsenal at Bramall Lane this season, the Blades will feel they can earn another famous win on Sunday as they welcome Manchester United, who have lost three of their last four Premier League away games.
Hoffenheim are flying at the moment, winning their last six consecutive matches including an away fixture against Bayern Munich and a 3-0 home victory over Paderborn in their last home match. Mainz make the trip to the PreZero Arena on Sunday and they’ve really struggled away from home this term. Achim Beierlorzer’s men have lost five of their six away games this term, three by three or more goals, so we’re looking at a home win on the handicap markets here.
Cagliari have been playing well of late, going 10 games unbeaten since they lost their first two matches of the campaign, to rise up to fourth in the table. Despite winning their last three games they have still conceded four in those matches, so we can’t see them keeping a clean sheet against a Lecce side that have scored in each of their last six. We do however, fancy Rossoblu to take all three points since Lupi haven’t won in any of those six games.
Bet Five – Toulouse vs Marseille – Away win & Over 2.5 goals
Marseille have won their last two games by a 2-1 scoreline – and they lost their two games before that with three or more goals scored in both of those games too. Those back-to-back victories will have given les Olympiens a real confidence boost and we fancy them to take the points from this trip to Toulouse. Antoine Kombouare’s men have seen over 2.5 goals scored in each of their last seven games, but they’ve lost four of those fixtures.
