The 2018/2019 Scottish FA Cup will consist of 95 teams battling it out for the most prized knock-out trophy in the Scottish football system. Unlike the Scottish League Cup, which consists of only the 44 members of the Scottish Football League, this trophy combines teams from outside the league pyramid and in the Highland and Lowland divisions too as they look for a chance to pit themselves against one of the biggest teams in the country.
Celtic are the current holders of the trophy having won the last three competitions, and their total of 39 tournament wins is a record above their Glaswegian rivals Rangers, who have 33 tournament wins to their name having not won the trophy since 2009.
