Young Boys vs Feyenoord Preview
Young Boys have been in fine form in October and they host Feyenoord for their Europa League clash on Thursday on the back of a four-match winning streak, where they beat Rangers (2-1) in Group G already and built on it with Super League success against Sion (3-2), Zurich (0-4), and Neuchatel Xamax (4-1).
YB have been in fine form in the final third and they now surely hope to build on such performances, led by in-form Jean-Pierre Nsame. They bagged a high total of 13 goals on those four occasions and we feel Gerardo Seoane should have no troubles motivating his men for more of the same.
Feyenoord, on the other hand, top the table thanks to their goal difference after a 2-0 win over Porto in early October. However, they’ve struggled for consistency and this was only their second win in seven outings across competitions, collecting just 14 points in ten league games so far.
De club aan de Maas have seen a thrashing 4-2 loss on their trip to Fortuna Sittard and failed to bounce quickly, as they saw Heracles (1-1) snatch a point in Rotterdam despite taking an early lead. They have been scoring goals on the regular but now need to recuperate and they need to do it quickly.
We don’t feel the visitors can do so now, though, and we’ll now rather back Young Boys to secure all three points at Evens with William Hill, which seems like great value seeing the sides’ contrasting spell of form lately.
We should be in for excitement and we don’t feel we’re in for smooth sailing. With that in mind, we hope to see goals on both ends and going for a Yes on Both teams to score at 8/15 with William Hill feels like a safer approach to the fixture here.
