After seeing two consecutive draws in Bundesliga, Wolfsburg kept up their six-match unbeaten streak across competitions with a 3-1 Europa League win over Oleksandria midway through the week and they now host Hoffenheim in hope to build on such a display – where Arnold, Mehmedi, and Brekalo all found the net.

Die Wolfe have shared the spoils with a Paderborn (1-1) and Fortuna Dusseldorf (1-1) before and after the International break, respectively, and they sit two points behind the pace-setters RB Leipzig. They’ve been conceding goals on the regular and this could be more worrying, but Oliver Glasner has been able to emphasize an in-form attacking line.
