Wigan boosted their survival hopes with a 1-0 road success at leaders West Brom to make it three league victories in a row and five without a loss. This run of 11 points from the last five has moved the Lancashire outfit out of the bottom three and into 19th two points above the dropzone.

At the DW Stadium, the Latics have struggled for victories winning two of their last 11 though these successes have come in their last four. Three of their last four and six of the last eight at this ground have seen both teams net.

Luton stretched their unbeaten run to two at the weekend with a 1-1 home draw against Stoke meaning they have taken ten points from their last five. They still bottom of the table with a five point gap between them and safety.

Away from Kenilworth Road, the Hatters have lost 12 of their last 13 the other was a victory at Middlesbrough on their penultimate road start. They have managed just five goals from their last ten away trips in the Championship.
