West Brom moved into fourth place and just one point behind their opponents here with a 3-2 victory over QPR on Tuesday night. Jefferson Montero, Jacob Murphy and Jake Livermore all weighed in with a goal each for a vital three points.
At the Hawthorns, the Baggies are winless in their last four with three of these finishing all-square and the other ending in defeat to Middlesbrough. Each of their last four and ten of the last 11 at their place has seen both teams net.
Sheffield United eased past Reading 4-0 at the weekend to make it back-to-back victories and stretch their unbeaten run to five. They sit second level on points with Leeds though they have played a game more than their Yorkshire rivals.
Away from Bramall Lane, the Blades are three without a victory though they have also lost just one of their last eight. Billy Sharp has grabbed five goals from his last two appearances on the road.
It is hard to argue on the prices on offer which make Albion favourites due to home advantage but suggest little to choose between the sides. Of the three options the draw might be the best bet but I would look elsewhere for the selection.
Both teams have seen three of their last five go over 2.5 goals and with both blessed with attacking options over 2.5 goals seems the way to play this. Both sides have scored around 66% of their goals in the second-half so backing this to be the highest scoring half looks a sensible bet.
