West Brom vs Huddersfield Match Preview
West Brom continued their unbeaten start to the league campaign and registered their third draw from four as they drew 1-1 with Fulham last time out. Albion are sixth in the table with three victories and four draws from their first seven and they are the only undefeated side in the division.
At the Hawthorns, the Baggies are undefeated in three but have only one victory which came against Blackburn while games with Millwall and Reading finished all-square. Albion have scored five home goals and all have come from different players.
Huddersfield had Danny Cowley in the dugout for the first time last weekend but no change in fortune as they suffered a fifth straight league defeat going down 2-0 at home to Sheffield Wednesday. They have taken just one point from their opening seven matches and are second bottom.
Away from the John Smith’s Stadium, the Terriers have actually played better picking up their only point at QPR while going down to narrow defeats at Cardiff and Luton. Town have managed to net in all three of their road trips so far.
It is hard to argue with the prices on offer which make West Brom strong favourites but we could not be rushing to side with the Baggies given how many they draw. Both teams to score seems a sensible play as it has happened in all three Albion home fixtures and all three Huddersfield road games. Matt Phillips looks the value here in the to score markets as he has two for the season and is a little unlucky not to have had more.
