West Brom headed into the international break in fourth place with a 1-0 road success at Brentford last time out. Two straight victories under caretaker boss mean James Shan is given another chance to take charge of the side and he is in pole position to lead the team into the play-offs where it seems likely they will finish

At the Hawthorns, the Baggies have won just one of their last seven but that was last time here in a comfortable 3-0 defeat of Swansea. That clean sheet was only their second in the last 13 in front of their own fans.

Birmingham endured a disappointing international break when it was announced they have been deducted nine points This has seen them drop into 18th and they are now just five points above the relegation battle.

Away from St Andrew’s, the Blues have lost the last two and four straight at all grounds in the league. They are leaking goals on their travels having shipped 13 times from their previous six.

It is hard to argue with the prices on offer here which make the hosts favourite given their recent upturn in form while the visitor have lost each of their last four and have to react to being docked nine points. That being said it is not a price that inspires a bet and I would look at a side market.

James Shan has made Albion tough to breakdown since taking over keeping clean sheets in his two matches in charge and with City having blanked in their last two on the road backing the visitors not to score looks good value.

Kyle Edwards netted last time out and has a good scoring record at Premier 2 level and is among those who will be playing for the manager and I think he looks a good shout to net at any time here.
