West Brom v Nottingham Forest Match Preview
West Brom won their second of their last third last time out as a Dwight Gayle gave them a 1-0 road success at Stoke. It has allowed the Baggies to keep touch with the sides in the top two and they are fourth five points off Leeds in second.
At the Hawthorns, five of their last eight have finished all-square with all of these being score draws. Dwight Gayle has three in his last five home appearances while Jay Rodriguez has five in five.
Nottingham Forest have had a mixed set of results of late with three victories and three defeats in their last six. They are in ninth three places and five points removed from the play-offs.
Away from the City Ground, the East Midlands outfit have lost their last three and are winless in six. A lack of goals on the road has been an issue with blanks in their last three and four of their last five.
Forest have been poor on the road of late but a 3-3 draw at Norwich a few weeks back shows what they are capable of. Beating Brentford last weekend was impressive and with the Baggies only winning two of their last eight here I like the visitors and the draw in the double chance market.
Another bet worth looking at is the second-half to be the highest scoring 45 minutes as both teams tend to do their best work here. The Tricky Trees score around 66% of their goals after the break while Albion are around 64%.
