Villefranche have beaten Les Herbiers (2-0) in January and after a lengthy break, they host PSG in Lyon continuing their Coupe de France campaign with surely the game of their season – picking it up through the Cup despite struggles to impress in French 3rd division.

Alain Pochat’s men have beaten Limoges (0-1 in extra time), Chamalieres (on penalties after a goalless draw), and Gravelines (0-3 in extra time) in Coupe de France beforehand. However, their performances in National 1 have been more worrying and few can believe they’ll pose a serious challenge on the day.

Paris Saint-Germain need just an opportunity like that after seeing their four-match winning streak ended by Lyon (2-1) on Sunday, where they took the lead early on but goals from Dembele and Fekir secured a comeback for the home side at this ground.

PSG have been netting numbers of goals on the regular as they beat Amiens (0-3), Guingamp (9-0), Strasbourg (2-0), and Rennes (4-1) beforehand. Thomas Tuchel could rest some of his main stars but there can be no slip-ups and Parisians will surely want a more convincing display in the final third.
