Villarreal host Deportivo Alaves desperate for points to escape the relegation zone, where they sit two behind Celta Vigo after a disappointing trip to Atletico Madrid (2-0) ended a streak of four games without a loss – where they got past Sporting CP (2-1) in Europa League and earned four points in clashes against Sevilla (3-0) and Valladolid (0-0).

Yellow Submarine will now be very motivated to keep it up and building on such a character at Estadio de la Ceramica will be crucial for their ambitions to escape the red zone towards the final part of the campaign.
