Argentina vs Colombia Stats

- The goalless draw in the sides’ last clash only ended a three-match winning streak in head-to-head encoutners for Albiceleste
Argentina vs Colombia Match Preview
Argentina have outclassed Nicaragua in a 5-1 friendly win as Leo Messi bagged a first-half brace, Lautaro Martinez netted a second-half brace, and Roberto Pereyra added one late in the match. They now meet Colombia hoping to build on such a performance and we expect Lionel Scaloni’s men in a great mood as they open competition in Copa America Group B.
Albiceleste have thus earned four wins in their last five outings, beating Mexico twice as well as Morocco (0-1) along the way, only seeing Venezuela (1-3) interrupt the streak with an upset in Madrid. They will now want a strong start and this contest could as well set the pace for their campaign.
However, Colombia feel like far from an easy target and come into the match on the back of a great streak as well, after outclassing Peru (0-3) on Sunday and bagging their fifth win in six outings. They have a lot to prove in Brazil and we expect them just as confident on the day.
Los Cafeteros have been scoring goals on the regular and we now expect them to kick it off in Brazil in a similar fashion with a great choice of in-form Luis Muriel, Duvan Zapata, and Radamel Falcao up front, which promises a great game of football at Arena Fonte Nova.
We will now stick our necks out for Colombia to hold off the rivals and snatch at least a point, where backing them to a win or Draw with a Double Chance at 7/10 with bet365 looks great value.
Indeed, we do expect goals and with that in mind, we’re now going for a Yes on Both teams to score at Evens with William Hill. We’ve seen both sides score and concede in two of their last three outings, which does add to such a belief at this point.
