Valencia vs Real Betis Match Preview

Valencia host Real Betis for their Copa del Rey clash on Wednesday looking to build on a 2-2 draw in the first leg, where they snatched an important result with late goals from Denis Cheryshev and Kevin Gameiro and make their way to the finals over the rivals.

Los Che have seen Leganes deny them all three points in the final minutes at Butarque on Sunday but still come into the contest on the back of a nine-match unbeaten streak, where they prove themselves a very tough nut to crack time and time again – despite not scoring as many goals more recently.

Real Betis have, on the other hand, only ended a five-match winless streak with a weekend win at Real Valladolid (0-2), struggling to impress on the road. They have been scoring goals but fail to capitalize with woes at the back, which will be even more worrying for Quique Setien.

Beticos have seen a thrashing loss at Leganes (3-0) and an Europa League exit despite a 3-3 draw at Rennes in two trips beforehand, which should have Valencia very motivated to do the same on the day.
