Notts County travel to Swindon on the final day of the League Two campaign still sitting in the relegation zone and two points behind 22nd placed Macclesfield, desperate to cause an upset at the County Ground and make a last-ditch effort in a battle to secure survival.

Magpies have bagged four points in their last two outings and kept up with the Stags, as they held Crawley Town to a 1-1 draw on the road and beat Grimsby 2-1 at home, with goals from Craig Mackail-Smith and Harry Clifton (OG). They will now want to keep it up and hope for a slip-up on Macclesfield’s end, which promises them very motivated on Saturday.

Swindon have less to play for since falling well behind the top 7 amid a troubled spell of form, where they failed to earn a win in any of their last six outings. Thriller losses to Crewe Alexandra (1-2) and Cheltenham (3-2) in their last two only ended a streak of four consecutive draws, which surely has them far from their best mood.
