Swansea vs Millwall Match Preview
Swansea drew 2-2 at Sheffield Wednesday ahead of the international break to stretch their unbeaten record to three though they have taken all three points in just two of the last six. The Welsh outfit sit fourth in the table though they have the worst goal-difference of any of the top five.
At the Liberty Stadium, the Swans have struggled of late winning just one of their last five though this did come against local rivals Cardiff. They have managed just three goals from these five in front of their own fans.
Millwall picked up all three points in their last fixture with a 2-1 home victory over Charlton to make it two wins from three for Gary Rowett. They can be reasonably content as they sit 15th and with such good home form are unlikely to be involved in the relegation battle.
Away from the Den, the Lions have struggled failing to win any of their eight on the road this season though four have finished all-square. Both teams to score has happened in each of their last four on their travels.
Bookmakers make Swansea strong favourites to win at home against a Millwall side who have been poor on the road. The visitors have drawn four of eight on their travels though and this is only the second game under Rowett on the road the other was a narrow 2-1 loss at Reading. Given the Swans have won just one of the last five at their place we are taking a chance at the odds on the Lions and the draw in the double chance market.
For the visitors to get something you imagine they would have to score at least once and Jed Wallace who has two in his last two on the road is still going off at too big a price to score at any time.
