RB Leipzig travel to Stuttgart of their Matchday 22 clash on the back of a solid streak which saw them through to the DFB Pokal Quarter-finals over Wolfsburg (1-0) and five points clear in the Bundesliga top 4 – with seven points in three outings since late January.

Die Bullen have beaten Fortuna Dusseldorf (0-4), Hannover 96 (0-3) and held chasers Eintracht Frankfurt to a goalless draw in their last three league outings, now surely motivated to capitalize with points against struggling rivals. Ralf Rangnick’s men thus rediscovered fine goalscoring form on the road and doing so at Mercedes-Benz-Arena will be crucial.

Stuttgart, on the other end, sit just outside the relegation zone and we’ve seen them struggling to keep hold of their mid-table rank. They’ve earned just one point in their last six league outings, holding Freiburg to a thriller 2-2 draw in early February but going on to see a 3-0 thrashing at Fortuna Dusseldorf – where Kenan Karaman, Oliver Fink, and Benito Raman all made it on the scoresheet.

Die Roten have proven themselves more of a nut to crack in front of the home fans and we’ve seen them scoring numbers of goals here. Still, they’ve failed to capitalize with many errors at the back and we feel this could prove costly against the in-form rivals yet again.

We’ll thus back RB Leipzig to make use of their woes and we’ll stick with an Away win here, which feels like great value at 20/23 with Betfair. We do expect a strong challenge but the visitors should have what it takes to outgun Stuttgart to all-important points here.
