It’s top vs bottom in Serie A on Saturday evening, a game that will affect both ends of the table. Juventus come here with a one point lead at the top of the table, though they have lost two of their last four games so need to be cautious, this title race is far from over despite them being top. Spal are in trouble at the bottom of the table, they come here on just 15 points which makes them eight away from safety.

Those above them have been playing well recently, and widening the gap so there is a lot of pressure on the club right now. Although we have 14 games to go, which is plenty, the feeling is that is Spal don’t get some points on the board from their next three or four games then they are going to leave themselves too much to do in the closing stages of the season.

Playing the league leaders is not the type of game you want to be going into needing a win, and this looks like being a step too far for Spal. What we do fancy them to do is score, they have no choice but to attack and have scored in each of their four defeats recently.
