Slavia Prague vs Sevilla Match Preview
Sevilla travel to Prague for the return match of their Europa League clash on Thursday evening after being denied an advantage in the first leg, where we’ve seen four goals in the first half and a thriller 2-2 draw leave a lot to play for at Sinobo Stadium.
Sevillistas have largely struggled for consistency but we have now seen them end a three-match winless streak with a very confident win over Real Sociedad (5-2) where Wissam Ben Yedder netted a hat-trick while Pablo Sarabia added one and Mikel Oyarzabal’s own goal made it a convincing display.
Slavia have proven themselves a tough side to beat and will want to show off just the same on the day, boasting a great streak of recent and a convincing 4-0 win over Banik Ostrava seen on Sunday – where Milan Skoda confirmed his fine form in the final third with his fifth goal in five appearances.
Red and Whites have been scoring numbers of goals along the way and will obviously want to capitalize on the ones scored in Spain, which promises them in great spirits. They’ve been rock-solid at home ground through most part of the campaign and this could mean further worry for Pablo Machin.
We will still back Sevilla to secure a ticket to the Quarter-finals with a win at Sinobo Stadium, which comes at 21/20 with bet365 and has already caught the eye of many in know hoping to see the visitors finding their consistency here.
We feel we should be in for goals as we go for them to outgun the Czech rivals, which has us backing a high-scoring contest and Over 2.5 Goals FT at 8/11 with William Hill. We have seen such clashes on the regular on both ends and this now feels like a generous banker bet.
