Sheffield United picked up a point on the road at Birmingham on Wednesday night in a 1-1 draw but it was not enough to move third. They are now one point behind Leeds, seven behind Norwich and have five matches to play. They do not have the worst run of fixtures with just two top half-opponents and none from the top eight.

At Bramall Lane, the Blades did lose to Bristol City last time here but before that won an impressive eight straight in the league. Seven of the last eight sides to come to this ground have failed to find the back of the net. Gary Madine has three from the last four fixtures here.

Millwall stretched their unbeaten run to two but would have been disappointed with a goalless draw against a struggling QPR side. They are 19th which has them three places and two points above the relegation spots. Three of their five remaining matches come against sides in the top six.

Away from the Den, the Lions have managed just three victories all season though these have come from their last eight. Ben Thompson has done well on the road of late with three goals from his last two appearances. Three of their last four on their travels have seen both teams net.

The home side are doing so well at their own place it seems hard to oppose them though the price on a United victory does not interest me with a few nerves starting to show among the top sides. We would not be backing a Millwall side with just three road wins all season.

A draw will do neither team any good so we think we might get a more open second-half and we are backing this to be the highest scoring 45 minutes and over 1.5 goals in this half.
