Sheffield United vs Reading Match Preview
Sheff U gained ground on second place Norwich last time out as they defeated promotion rivals Middlesbrough 1-0. Richard Stearman got the goal that put them two points behind second-placed Norwich.
At Bramall Lane, the Blades have won five straight league games keeping clean sheets in each of the last four. David McGoldrick has netted in five of his last six appearances at this ground.
Reading moved themselves out of the bottom three in midweek with a 1-0 success over Blackburn. It means they are four unbeaten and in 21st place one above Rotherham and the bottom three.
Away from the Madejski, the Royals are winless in 12 but three of their last four on the road have finished all-square. Just one of their previous nine on the road have gone over 2.5 goals.
Sheffield United are flying at home with five straight league wins but again they are within touching distance of the top two and this brings a new pressure. Reading are also unbeaten in four have a dangerous frontman in Nelson Oliveira and look great value with a 1.0 start on the Asian Handicap.
I mentioned before Nelson Oliveira who has two in the last three and is on penalties and the Reading front-man can do some damage here. He will surely have been in contact with a few of his Norwich team-mates during the week hungry to see him get among the goals against one of their promotion rivals.
