Sevilla have been in fine form early in the new campaign and now host Real Madrid hoping to show what they’re made of, looking to keep hold of the La Liga top spot with important home points. They’ve collected ten points in four outings so far and Lopetegui should have no troubles lifting their team spirits once again.
Sevillistas also come into the match on the back of a rock-solid Europa League win over Qarabag (0-3), where Chicharito, Munir, and Oliver Torres all found the net in the final half-hour. They will now hope to build on such a goalscoring display as well as their defensive performances so far.
Real Madrid have struggled for such pick-me-ups and suffered a thrashing 3-0 loss at Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday, which ended a four-game unbeaten streak for them. They have been far from impressive, though, and have a lot to prove if they’re to battle for the league title after a shaky start of the campaign.
Los Blancos have beaten Celta Vigo (1-3) and Levante (3-2) in two exciting games but were also held off by Real Valladolid (1-1) and Villarreal (2-2) along the way, as their defensive struggles prove costly time and time again under Zinedine Zidane. They will now hope to put it all behind them but the task will be no easy one.
We feel Real Madrid come desperate to show off and this could play a role, as we now stick our necks out for the sides to share the spoils in a Draw priced at 14/5 with bet365. Sevilla seem to be in better shape now but we don’t really feel they can show off against Real here.
