Barcelona travel to Seville for their Matchday 25 clash on Saturday afternoon just days after their mid-week Champions League trip to Lyon, having ended a streak of three consecutive draws with a narrow 1-0 win over Real Valladolid and hoping they can build on it.

Blaugrana have struggled to score numbers of goals and consequently lost on their consistency, bagging just one win (0-2 at Girona) in four away games since early January – with a comfortable 2-0 loss at this ground in Copa del Rey seen along the way. However, it feels they’re in a better place now and Ernesto Valverde will have a lot to prove here.

Sevilla have struggled to bounce back after seeing Barca turn their Copa del Rey clash the other way in a 6-1 thrashing at Camp Nou, suffering losses at Celta Vigo (1-0) and Villarreal (3-0) and only holding Eibar to a thrilling 2-2 draw along the way.

However, Sevillistas come into the match just days after their hosting Lazio here, looking to build on a 0-1 win in Rome and build towards consistency at an important time. They have proven themselves a very tough nut to crack at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan and finding such form will be essential for their top 4 ambitions.
