Seattle Sounders vs Toronto FC Match Preview
Seattle Sounders have been in great shape in front of the home fans early in the new campaign and now host Toronto for their Saturday’s clash looking to keep their three-match winning streak, building on a 13-point tally and challenging Los Angeles FC at the top of the Western Conference table.
Sounders have beaten Cincinnati (4-1), Colorado Rapids (2-0), and Real Salt Lake (1-0) at CenturyLink Field and kept up such performances with an exciting win at Chicago Fire (2-4) as well as a goalless draw at Vancouver Whitecaps along the way. Brian Schmetzer should have no troubles lifting their team spirits and we expect them in a great mood once again.
Toronto are yet to see a loss this term but travel to Seattle after seeing Chicago Fire end their three-match winning streak in front of the home fans, where goals from Jozy Altidore and Jonathan Osorio proved enough for just a point in a thriller 2-2 draw.
Reds have beaten Philadelphia Union (1-3), New England (3-2), and New York City (4-0) in three outings since early March, boasting great records in the final third and now looking to show off once again – led primarily by in-form Altidore who found the net three times in three appearances.
We don’t see the visitors outgunning Sounders, though, and we’ll now back Brian Schmetzer’s men to secure all three points. We expect an exciting occasion but going for a Home win at 78/100 with William Hill still feels like great value at this point.
We should be in for goals and with hope we’ll see them on both ends, we’re now also going for a high-scoring contest and Over 2.5 Goals FT at 4/6 with bet365. We’ve seen Toronto enjoy such clashes lately and they should be able to force the rivals into another such occasion now.
