Seattle Sounders vs Orlando City Match Preview
Seattle Sounders have finally returned to the winning ways with a narrow 1-0 win over Houston Dynamo in front of the home fans – where an early opener from Cristian Roldan proved enough for all three points – and now host Orlando City hoping to build on the success.
Sounders have bagged just three points in four outings beforehand and while they’ve proven themselves a very tough side to beat, this sees them five points adrift the top of the Western Conference table. Brian Schmetzer will now want more from his men and we expect them very motivated to deliver.
Orlando City will have plans of their own but hardly have high team spirits to boast with struggles to score goals and losses to Toronto (0-2) and Atlanta United (1-0) now behind them. They’ve thus netted just two goals in four outings and building on the tally will be just as tough at CenturyLink Field.
Lions have struggled for consistency on the road just as much but have been scoring goals on the regular, with their Sunday’s trip to Mercedes-Benz Stadium the only time they’ve failed to find the net away from home this term.
We thus hope to see the visitors find the net but we don’t feel they’ll be able to snatch anything for it, as we now go for a Home win and a Yes on Both teams to score at 15/8 with bet365.
With that in mind, we make a case for a high-scoring contest in Seattle this time around and we now back Over 2.5 Goals FT, which comes off as buying money for old rope at 3/5 with Paddy Power. We’ve been used to such head-to-head clashes between the side too and now hope for more of the same!
