AC Milan travel to Genoa for their Matchday 29 clash at Sampdoria as they return to Serie A after the International duties, surely looking to use the break to a good cause after seeing Inter (2-3) bag all three points in an underwhelming Derby della Madonnina display ahead of it.

Rossoneri have thus seen their ten-match unbeaten streak across competitions ended but still sit four points clear of 5th placed Roma, which should have Gennaro Gattuso’s men very motivated to bounce back quickly. They’ve been scoring numbers of goals lately and we now hope to see them enjoy another solid performance in the final third.

Sampdoria will be no easy side to beat, though, as they look to keep up with the league’s top 6 after bagging nine points in their last four outings. They beat Cagliari (1-0), SPAL (1-2), and Sassuolo (3-5) since mid-February and only suffered a 1-2 loss to Atalanta along the way, where visitors snatched the points through second-half goals from Duvan Zapata and Robin Gosens.

Blucerchiati have struggled to cope with the big guns and this could be more worrying but we expect them just as motivated to show off their character at Luigi Ferraris. We thus hope for an exciting occasion but feel Milan should have what it takes to outgun the rivals here.
