Venue: New York Stadium, Rotherham
Rotherham vs Middlesbrough Fansbet Preview
It’s hardly as though Boro have been entirely secure at the back either with just three clean sheets in 11 matches now, while they’re currently missing three of their first choice back-line, as centre-backs Dael Fry and Dani Ayala, as well as left-back and captain George Friend are all out of action.
Although the visitors may have won four of the last five, they haven’t always been totally convincing and lost the previous six outings, so we wouldn’t be especially confident of backing them at the prices.

Rotherham vs Middlesbrough Match Preview
Rotherham put up a decent effort but found themselves relegated back to League One at the first attempt with the gap between them and Millwall in 21st four points with just one fixture remaining. United are likely to keep faith in manager Paul Warne who got them promoted last season. As fitting of a club of their size they might lose a few of their bigger names.
At the New York Stadium, the Millers have been decent this season winning two of their last four and losing just two of their last six. Each of the last nine and 14 of the last 15 at their own place have seen both teams net. The last five at this ground and nine of the last ten have gone over 2.5 goals with three of the last going over 3.5.
Middlesbrough come into the game in seventh and kept their play-off hopes alive with a 2-1 victory over Reading. A midweek draw for Derby has kept alive their play-off hopes and they sit just one point behind the team in sixth. Their goal-difference is inferior to the Rams though so a draw would not be enough for them.
Away from the Riverside, Boro have struggled of late losing three of their last four and their only win in six came away at Bolton. They have struggled for goals on the road of late having netted just four times in their last seven. Just one of their last seven on their travels has seen both teams find the back of the net.
The visitors are a short price to win this one as they have everything to play for while Rotherham have nothing on the line. Boro must win this match as inferior goal-difference means a point is meaningless so I could see them coming out firing here. Back them to be ahead at half-time in that market and again at full-time in the double result field.
