Ross County vs Celtic Match Preview
Celtic travel to Dingwall for their Matchday 15 clash on Sunday, just days after beating Rennes (3-1) in Europa League to secure the top spot in Group E and extend their nine-match winning streak across competitions. They’ve been in great shape lately, now serving as heavy betting favourites to win and for a great reason.
Bhoys have been scoring numbers of goals on the regular and while they’ve struggled for dominant displays at the back on some occasions, this hardly dented their confidence. They’ve seen high-scoring occasions as they beat Hibs (2-5), Lazio (1-2), and Livingston (4-0) in November, only seeing a comfortable 2-0 win over Motherwell (2-0) along the way.
We now hope to see goals once again and Ross County have seen just as much of them, which serves as further evidence for such a bet despite being on the receiving end most of the time. They saw thriller losses to Aberdeen (1-3) and St Mirren (2-1) in their last two outings and should now be in for more of the same.
Staggies have been scoring goals and will hope to capitalize on Celtic’s defensive shortcomings too, enjoying an attacking approach even when they struggle to dominate the midfield. Stuart Kettlewell and Stevie Ferguson want to see a resilient side and while we don’t see them snatching points, their men will surely show off.
We should still be in for goals and we’re now going for a high-scoring occasion at Global Energy Stadium as we back Over 3.5 Goals FT at 23/20 with BetVictor, which feels like the best approach to the fixture with Celtic flying high at this point.
We hope to see Ross County moving forward and finding the net themselves, though. We’ve seen them score at least a goal in five of their six home outings this term and we’ll back a Yes on Both teams to score here as well, which comes at 13/10 with William Hill.
