Romania vs Norway Match Preview

Romania have bagged 13 points in six Group F outings after kicking the campaign off with a 2-1 loss in Sweden, now only seeing the unbeaten streak interrupted with a loss to Spain (1-2) in early September. Cosmin Contra’s men now host Norway hoping to challenge the top 2, as they sit just a point behind the 2nd placed Sweden.

Tricolorii have beaten Malta (1-0) and Faroe Islands (0-3) in their last two outings with goals coming from all directions, George Puscas finding the net on both occasions and Claudiu Keseru proving his great form with Ludogorets in the national team as well. They will now hope to build on the performances and we feel we’re in for a great performance at Arena Nationala.

Norway have, on the other hand, proven themselves a very tough nut to crack and on the back of such results, they sit just four points behind 2nd placed Sweden despite only earning two wins in seven games. They travel to Bucharest with high hopes of turning it around and proving such a character once again will be crucial.

Lovene held on to 1-1 draws against both Sweden (in September) and Spain (on Saturday), where Joshua King converted the last-gasp penalty kick to snatch a point. They now hope to build on the great team spirits and we expect them to show off as a tough side to outgun.
